The Moffat Road

Last spring break, I went skiing in Colorado. The nice thing about Summit County ski resorts (besides the snow, terrain, lifts, sun, etc.) is that they're not very far from Denver. So when my buddy Brad Robinson and I decided to take a day off from skiing, it was a no-brainer to go into town and head out the line David Moffat built, a direct assault on the continental divide in the heart of the Rockies that is still a main line in the Union Pacific system. Was it better than a day of skiing? Hmmm, that's a tough one. Will I be back? That one's a little easier...
