Also for sale are limited edition (only offered here) Chessie System decals for the C26.  These Microscale decals are offered for just $3 a sheet.  A sheet does one car and has numbers for both C-3XXX and 903XXX numbers.  This is the standard Chessie paint scheme found on most cabooses during the Chessie era (see C-3739 and 903728 below for examples of the paint scheme).  It was used starting after 1972 and up to 1986.  Many CSX C26s stayed in this paint scheme into the 90's..

Below are photos of the prototype cabooses for reference.
Below are examples of the "as delivered" B&O blue scheme with C-3XXX road number.  Some of these were renumbered after 1982 to the 903XXX numbers, as seen on the right.

Below is the standard Chessie paint scheme applied to C-26s.  Seen between 1972-1982 with C-3XXX road numbers and 903XXXX road numbers post-1982.  Note that the hasty reunmbering was common.

Below are two of the special Chessie C-26s.  In 1974 four C-26s were painted in special safety schemes.  Each one was in a separte color (brown, purple, tan and light green).  In 1982-3 three C-26s were painted in the orange "Careful Car Handling" caboose scheme.
