The society with around 24 members is based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. Meetings take place Wednesday evening and Thursday afternoon. Members interests vary from 2mm to G Gauge, covering many railways in the UK and abroad. The society has 5 layouts. > Binns Road - A portable Hornby Dublo 3 rail layout > Havil - Our permanent 00 layout, LMS/LNER set in the Midlands, with operating trams > Middleton - A large "portable" 00 gauge, set in LNER Yorkshire > Mosquito Falls - An On30 logging layout currently under construction > Nevercreech Junction - An N gauge exhibition layout, based on the S&D. There is also a multi gauge test track, together with member layouts in N, TT & G gauges. Fed up with your ready to run stock just going round a little oval? Why not bring it along to run on our large scenic Havil layout? |
