Welwyn Garden City is on the line from Kings Cross with a frequent service,then by bus from the nearby bus station.
BY BUS -
route 403 from stop 5,Welwyn Garden City bus station,½ hourly service at 00 and 30 minutes past the hour (10 minutes journey).
BY CAR - From the North, South & West
Leave A1(M) at junction J4. At roundabout (with traffic lights) turn left onto A6129 to Welwyn Garden City.
At 3rd roundabout (1½ miles) turn right onto A1000 towards Hatfield.
Take immediate left into Woodhall Lane (caution road humps)
At T junction (½ mile) turn left into Cole Green Lane.
Ludwick Way Methodist Church is on left (200 yds) immediately after Woodhall Parade shops.
Alternative avoiding humps
Leave A1(M) at junction J4. At roundabout (with traffic lights) turn second left onto A414.
after next roundabout take slip road up to A1000 turn left towards Welwyn Garden City.
At roundabout turn right into Howlands, after 1/2 mile turn left just after shops and pub
into Hollybush Lane continue on to Woodhall Parade and church.
This route can also be used from the A414 if coming from the East as an alternative to below.
BY CAR - From the East
Leave Hertford on the A414. At roundabout (4 miles) turn right onto B195 to Welwyn Garden City
At next junction (just after 40mph restriction) turn left (signed H A&E QE2).
This is Cole Green Lane, follow for 1 mile (2 roundabouts + speed bumps)
Row of shops on the right is Woodhall Parade.
Ludwick Way Methodist Church is on the right side immediately before the shops.
