Current & Recent club activity :-

BINNS ROAD -
The layout's next exhibition outing is to Sacrewell Farm Centre, Peterborough on 7th June 2009.

NEVERCREECH JUNCTION -
The clubs new 2mm layout donated by Bill Shackel is scheduled to appear at the Colchester exhibition on Sunday 1st November.

HAVIL JUNCTION -
Havil is running regularly on club nights.

MIDDLETON -
Basic construction of the 180 degree boards to convert the layout into "U" shape has been completed. Work will re-commence on this shortly now the 2009 exhibition has taken place.

On30 LOGGING LAYOUT -
The boards have been constructed and track laying is under way. A range of stock has been acquired. A decision regarding the type of digital control will be made shortly.

DHMRS EXHIBITION 2009 -
Luckily we had reasonably fine weather on 25th April for our exhibition. The layouts on view were supported by members of the trade and overall the event was considered a great success.

CMRA Representatives meeting -
Was hosted by the DHMRS on Saturday 16th February, Havil was run for their entertainment.

ST ALBANS 2008 CMRA exhibition -
Members of the Society judged the award of the Denis Moore trophy for the best scenic layout at the exhibition.
In 2008 this was awarded to the Alkham layout by Ian Hollis.

MIDDLETON ON DVD -
Our Middleton layout which appeared in the May 2006 edition of Railway Modeller was filmed in January 2007 and appears for around ten minutes in Peco's 2006 Railway Modeller CD Annual.

HAVIL JUNCTION ON TELEVISION -
Our other layout, Havil junction, recently appeared in the CBeebies programme Numberjacks.
