ILA-II (formerly The Industrial Locomotive Archives) is a bi-monthly newsletter covering
industrial railway operations around North America. Each issue contains an assorted listing of
various industrial operations. For each operation, an all-time roster is provided showing full histories
and details of all known locomotives.
The newsletter's past and current columns include A Canadian Report by Bruce Mercer, which focuses on Canadian
industrial operations, Ron Stafford's Coal Mine Report, which details the operations of
various coal mining operations, as well as Pete Kovanda's West Coast Review, which looks at various western
Canadian industries.
Most issues contain various featured rosters, and in the past these have included Archer Daniels Midland,
Bethlehem Steel, Continantal Grain, and Republic Steel.
