Bealeton Library Show
The Bealeton RR Station was built in 1905 and served as the passenger station until the 1950's and was moved to it's current location in 2002. The Bealeton Library was built next to it in 2004 in an architectural style that compliments the Station building, which was restored in 2005.
January 25-26, 2014, we had a train show in the old Bealeton Station building in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the opening of the library. We display our model trains every December at the library in the restored old Bealeton Southern Railroad train station.
Many local families took advantage of the free show to come and see our model railroading displays.
Trains seem to capture the interest of people of all ages.
A variety of diesel and steam engines were in constant motion
The "Hillbilly Heaven" barn dance complete with live music was displayed at this show for the very first time.
