Prince William Boy Scout Troop #964 Train Show

Each year the Piedmont Railroaders join with the two other HO Scale module groups in the area to support the annual fundraiser for Boy Scout Troop 964 in Prince William County Virginia. The four groups; Piedmont Railroaders, Potomac Module Crew, Prince William County Model Railroad Club and the Scouts present a layout consisting of approximately 94 modules. A unique configuration is utilized with turnaround loops at each end rather than running in two continuos loops of track as is done most often in modular layouts. The element that makes this possible is the utilization of DCC. Up to 20 trains have been operated simultaneously on the 10 scale miles of mainline track.
A beautifully detailed scene.
