Earlier Culpeper Train Shows

   The Piedmont Railroaders have supported many events in the neighboring town of Culpeper. For many years we have set up a train display in the Visitors Center at the Depot located at 113 S. Commerce St. for the Culpeper Harvest Days Farm Tour. The Tour starts at the Depot and from there visitors fan out to visit the many participating farms, vineyards, and businesses that are open to the public. What a great way to learn about life on the farm in Culpeper County and the many products that are raised and grown there.

	The Depot is still a regular passenger stop for Amtrak, and several freight trains pass through daily.
The size of the layout at this show has been as large as 44' X 12'
	Every year it is different as club members modify their individual modules.
	There is a large variety of trains and scenery to view.
Children and adults alike enjoy the display.
	Some of the children like to follow the trains around and around.
This is pure joy.
