Termite pics - Garden Railway - The Sandstone & Termite Railway
Termite is the name given to the indoor storage area approx 5m x 2m under the house which is also my workshop. It has 2 reversing loops and 4 sidings which can store around 40 wagons amd 6 locos. The photo shows there is no 'scenery' although I always planned a station, but there is now not enough room. It may not be an ideal environment, but I could not exist without a run-in storage. Keeping trains in boxes and unpacking every time you want to run would be too much of a chore for me.
The track to the outside exits at the left of the pic. Termite has its own track power controller and control panel to switch each siding.

The track exits the workshop to the left.
