The formation of this Atlanta area division began when Tom Robinson,
owner of the "This is S Gauge" portable layout, moved to Georgia,
and at the 2001 NASG Convention told Wayne Beachy he wanted to start
an Atlantic Coast S Gaugers Division in the Atlanta area.
If you are interested in joining, contact Bob Lacheen. We will send you a new member packet and keep you advised about the next planned meeting of the Georgia Division. The weekend of March 15 & 16, 2003, members of the Carolinas Division of the ACSG traveled to Atlanta Georgia to promote beginning a Georgia Division. "The show was a lot of fun, we met a lot of S gaugers from the Atlanta area, and we placed second in the contest, earning $300 for our treasury. At the show, we were able to identify 12 potential members to start a Georgia Division. We gave out over 100 membership brochures." - Joe Haenn |
