Day Out with Thomas at NC Transport Museum, Sept/Oct 2009, Spencer, NC
NMRA Tidewater Train Show, Sept. 2009, Virginia Beach, VA | Greenberg Train Show, October 2009, Fredericksburg, VA

The Atlantic Coast S Gaugers set up during the Day Out with Thomas at the North Carolina Transporation Museum in Spencer, NC in September & October 2009.
The Thomas Cab is on the left, with a long line waiting for a turn.
There were trains running on four tracks on the main layout, with four more trains running on the "mountain" in the middle.
Nick C. also set up his Thomas Cab so that the lines for both cabs could be a little shorter.
It is always fun to watch the trains and discover that there is a camera in one of the cabooses and wave as the train goes by. (1:10)
The modular layout was set up in one stall of the roundhouse.
There were always crowds of families with kids of all ages enjoying the trains and accessories.
Ken and Gavin at the control panel.

Trains are passing as the IRS building is burning! You can also see the trains running on the multi-level display towards the back of the layout. (27 sec.)
Doug working at the workbench doing one of the many repairs to engines, rolling stock, and accessories.
Kids pressing up against the plexiglass watching the trains and pushing the many buttons on the interactive layout.
A puffing steam engine passes the IRS building and the Starlight Diner.
