The Tidewater Division of the Atlantic Coast S Gaugers set up their modular layout
at the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA) Tidewater Division Train Show
on September 12 & 13, 2009 in the Virgina Beach VA Convention Center.
The layout is 22 feet wide and 34 feet long. There are 5 individual loops of tracks
for the trains.
Here is Ken McNelly setting up the Franklin passenger train on track 3.
And the Franklin passenger train in motion with the horse cars right behind the engine.
Coal train on the outer loop. Passenger train on an inner loop. And a circus
train parked on the siding.
The accessories all around the layout are always a big hit with kids of all ages.

The lower level tracks are for more trains and for testing engine repairs.
Here is Dean at his workbench making those engine repairs. The transformers at his
elbow control the engine test tracks.

There is always a train in sight and moving on the layout. Construction train,
