13-24-96 roll over the New River Drawbridge at 45 MPH, the train
was 16 cars long and was equipment from P097-22 and P089-22, these
trains got stacked up in Florence following a CSX derailment in
Charleston involving Class I Military Explosives, the trains were
annulled, the two trains were combined, and ran as P089-22, they
dropped 12 RoadRailers in JAX, and continued to Miami via the
A-Line with the crew from P097-23 (their train was annulled), many
thanks to the Conductor of this train for giving me a heads up on
this move, as its not too often you see a 3 engine 16 car train |
