Looking
towards the south at Delray Beach, normally you can see the
headlight when he's three miles south of this location, well as
you can tell the fog reduced that visibility significantly |

92 in West Palm with Engine 93 as the Trailer, I (along with the
rest of the crew) have no clue what the Dispatcher was thinking,
he put the 16 car Super Train in siding at West Palm for a
Southbound Rock Train, K995, needless to say the Engineer and
every Conductor plus station staff was pissed |

got permission to enter the station so it could clear up the NE of

Little
bit of an unusual situation for 98 today, their regular crew
outlawed the night before, so 3 JAX Conductors were brought down
in the middle of the night to work this train, a single MIA
Engineer and this crew brought the train to Winter Haven where the
outlawed crew picked up the train (they overnighted at Lakeland),
to top it all off the train was late from the yard, they finally
got on the road around 11:30, as a note the train's Conductor was
on the head end calling MOW Foremen to allow the Engineer to focus
on operating the train, in this shot we see the train headed
around the curve just north of CP Tompkins in Opa Locka |
