Amtrak retired most of its F40's by 2003 with Train #63 and 64's duties now being handled by P40DC's (the first generation Genesis units) as seen in Niagara Falls with P40 #824 leading Train #64 on January 12th, 2004.
The P40's didn't hold down #63 and 64's duties for long as they were eventually placed into storage. The Maple leaf now has anything from P42DC's to P32AC-DM's for power as seen in this photo in Buffalo, NY on March 13th, 2009 as #703 leads.
