Crossing over the High Falls of the Genesee River in downtown Rochester, NY is Train #281 with P32AC-DM #712 as today's leader. This view is afforded by a footbridge at the High Falls Park near the original Genesee Beer Brewery in Rochester.
Crossing Exchange Street in Downtown Buffalo, NY is Empire Service Train #281 with P32AC-DM #714 on the head end on July 3rd, 2010. This train would soon make its stop at Buffalo-Exchange Street Station, then onto Niagara Falls, NY.
Crossing the mighty Genesee River and the High Falls is Empire Service Train #281 at Rochester, NY on June 3rd, 2011 with P32AC-DM #700 on the head end.
This photo brought to you courtesy of Hurricane Irene!!! Taken shortly after Empire Service Train #281 arrived (The train with P32AC-DM #711 on the head end). This photo would otherwise not be possible in the evening as the train lead by P32 #709 in the background normally doesn't arrive until well after dark but because that train (which normally comes in as #283 and goes out as #284 the following morning) didn't run that day, that train set sat in Niagara Falls all day making this photo possible just before sunset on August 27th, 2011.
