Amtrak's Amfleet I Coach Roster Photos
GENERAL: Cafe Cars ordered when the Amfleet II Coaches were introduced, for use on long-distance trains.
TERRITORY: These cars can be seen running on most long-distance trains originating out of New York City.
NOTES: These cars were delivered with Dinette Tables on one end, a Food Service Area in the middle and Lounge Seating on the other end. Several have been refurbished to have updated decor, Dinette Tables on one end, Food Service Area in the middle and an enclosed Smoking Room on the other. Some have in recent years been converted into "Diner-Lite" service for select Eastern Long-Distance trains as a substitution/replacement for a Heritage Diner.
