Built by Budd in 1948 as a dining car for the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railway and numbered 195 and named "Silver Restaurant". Conveyed to Amtrak in 1971 and numbered 8052 and keeping the same name. Converted to Head-End Power from Steam Heat in December 1979 and renumbered 8504. This car would also be the last Heritage Diner I didn't already have photographed! It only took me 15 years to accomplish this!
