This car was originally built in 1947 for the New York Central and ran primarally in pool service as well as on the Empire State Express trains. The car ran on Amtrak until it's retirement. The car was owned by the Mohawk & Hudson Chapter NRHS prior to it's sale to the Western NY Railway Historical Society in December 2006. Today the car sits in Medina, NY awaiting restoration to join the other 5 NYC coaches there for excursions.
