Built by General Electric Transportation Systems in April 2001 and numbered 160. This series of locomotives, also known as the Genesis Series II locomotives, were an upgraded version of the P40DC. This photo shows #160 in Amtrak's "Dash 8 Phase III" paint scheme in celebration of its 50th Anniversary in 2021. This paint scheme first appeared in the early 1990's on the 500-series GE P32-8BWH locomotives, giving them the nickname "Pepsi Cans" by railfans due to it's similar appearance to Pepsi's logo used at the time.
