This locomotive is named after long-time Cedar Point president George A. Boeckling. Built in 1927, it was originally owned by the N&S Coal Company of Pittsburgh, PA and later sold to a fuel company in Mullberry, KS. In 1977, it was sold to Keystone Light Rail Co. in Herminie, PA and was converted into a 2-4-4RT wheel configuration. In 1980, it was sold to Marriott Corp. and adapted for use in a Six Flags Park in Gurnee, IL. In 1984, it was sold to Bill Norad, and worked on by Stan Matthews at Shop Services in Mount Pleasant, IA. By 1996, it was traded to Disneyland and named "Ward Kimball". It was tested at Disney World in 1997 and placed on display at Epcot Center. It was traded to Cedar Point for former CP&LE locomotive "Maud L.", a 1902-Baldwin Locomotive Works product. By 2007, it was relocated again, this time to Cedar Point 's sister-park, Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA. Finally, in 2010, it was returned to Cedar Point, and converted into its current 2-4-0 wheel configuration.
