After spending some time at Roosevelt Ave (amazing that it was sunny coming into Chicago but by the time I got to Roosevelt Ave, it was cloudy, PHOTOGRAPHY BUMMER!!!), I walked back to Union Station, stopping at a local CVS/Pharmacy to pick up a 12 pack of Diet Pepsi and some snacks for the trip. After picking up the "Consumables", I then walked back to Union Station.
Once back in Union Station, I went back to the Metropolitan Lounge for a bit and picked up my luggage (they'll store your luggage there free of charge, just show your ticket) and just hung out for a bit until the announcement that Amtrak Train #3 – The Southwest Chief would be boarding. |
