South Lyons had hosters in 1880s - Gable and Diaper.

3/14/1883 - Wreck in Ann Arbor, 12 cars went down embankment, 1 killed

Engine numbers 101 and 15 wreck in Ann Arbor near NYC interchange and Huron River bridge.  Engine 101 little damage, engine 15 the Ann Arbor yard engine was badly damaged.

Engine 36 and F&SE 2 went to A&BR RR

In April 1893 engine 36 - 3 miles north of Leland near Horse Lake with engine 28.  J. C. Howe, engineer, Clarence Swineforth fireman died, he was brother of Smokey Swineforth engineer.  The engineer on number 28 was Anderson.

1st number 38 blew up, location unknown, engine were returned to builder.

1st number 40 blew up in Cadillac killing fireman Pat O'Neal, engine were returned to builder.

Engine number 46 at Cadillac killed Arthur Garyhorn fireman in 1908

Engine number 20 blew up in 1908 killing George Groh.
