Notes:
General comment: While the Ann Arbor was acquired by the Wabash in 1925, Heimburger notes that it was not until 1932-1933 that all Ann Arbor engines were renumbered and reclassified by the Wabash to fit in with the Wabash numbering and classification schemes. He goes on to note that these engines continued to carry the Ann Arbor name although the Wabash paint scheme was adopted - name on the cab and numbers on the tender. However on page 54 he has a photograph of #1610 which shows Wabash on the cab and only very small A.A. initials above the Wabash name.
1 Heimburger asserts there is evidence that TAA&NM #22 through #26 were built under #8 through #12 and renumbered afterwards.
2. Numbers 24 and 26 had their drivers rebuilt to 62.
3. Number 19 was destroyed in a head-on collision with #103 at Mt. Pleasant MI on 17 September 1908

There are certain anomalies in the roster that need clarification and/or correction (was there really a second 4-4-0 #26, were there really 3 numbers 50 and 51 carried on the roster as different times), if you have any clarifications, corrections or additions, please contact:
