Certification allowed to expire in 1972 and stored outof service at Frankfort.  Officially retired June 13, 1974.  Sold to Marine Salvage limited of Port Colbourne, Ontarion Canada.  Load with scrap metal and towed to Spain to be scrapped).

Vessel Remarks:

Tranverse bulkheads divided the hull into eight watertight compartments beneath the main decks.  Wing tanks, with a capacity of 60 tons each for trimming.  Two fresh water tanks, 3000 gallons each, one sewage tank, 2000 gallons.
Car decks were designed but never used.
Stateroom capacity 40 passenger, deck capacity 360 passengers, steam heat, electric lights.  Galley, cold storage room and a one ton ice machine.
Authorized to install fire detecting and sprinker systems 2/18/1937
Replace hand operated life boat equiptment and swinging boat davits with mechanical operated equipment, authorized 1/3/1938
Installation of mechanical strokers, and ash/coal handling equipment authorized 3/31/1939, estimate cost $30,030, the fund were advanced to the Ann Arbor Boat Company for said work.
