Green Bay Western Decals Order Sheet

GREEN BAY and WESTERN
1960's era Pullman-Standard boxcars

Each decal set contains a data sheet, GBW heralds, and the roadname lettering. NOTE: The "Packers" emblems are sold as a separate set.

GBW Set 1: Set contains one data sheet, two pairs of 12-inch plus two pairs of 9-inch roadname, and four pairs of heralds. White lettering for boxcar red and bright red cars.

GBW 700-899 / 40-foot P-S boxcars with 6-foot / 7 panel door. Built 1950.
As delivered: boxcar red / black ends / 9-inch roadname. Some repainted with 12-inch roadname. Repainted bright red with "Packers" logos starting in 1962, most with 12-inch roadname, some with 9-inch.

GBW Set 2: Set contains one data sheet, three pairs of 12-inch roadname, and three pairs of heralds. Black lettering for yellow cars.

GBW 900-949 / 40-foot P-S boxcars with 9-foot / P-S door. Built 1959.
As delivered: yellow / black ends / 12-inch roadname and without "Packers" logo. Repainted all yellow with "Packers" logos starting in 1962.

GBW 650-691 / 40-foot P-S boxcars with 7-foot panel door. Ex-Buffalo Creek cars built 1947.
GBW obtained then in 1962 through USRy Leasing. All yellow with "Packers" logos.

GBW Set 3: Set contains one data sheet, three pairs of 12-inch roadname, and three pairs of heralds. Yellow lettering for green cars.

GBW 1000-1004 / 40-foot P-S boxcars with 9-foot / P-S door. Built 1959.
All dark green / 12-inch roadname. Probable delivered without "Packers" logo but added in the early 1960's.
Note: that the "football" is located right of the door.

GBW 500-519 / 50-foot P-S boxcars with 9-foot / P-S door. Built 1964.

All dark green / 12-inch roadname and with "Packers" logos to right of the door.

GBW Set 4: "PACKERS" logos [ footballs ] Set contains two pairs of logos - will letter two cars. (Footballs) NOTE: These decals must be applied in LAYERS. Apply the brown background first and allow to thoroughly set, then apply the yellow lettering, and finally add the green outlines.
