ANN ARBOR SEEKING TO ABANDON TRAINS

The Michigan Public Utilities Commission has promised a decision soon on a petition for bus service between Clare, Mich. And Frankfort, Mich., linking it with the Ann Arbor Railroad's proposal to abandon its final passenger train service, its two daily runs between Toledo and Frankfort. The railroad application and that of Michigan riders for bus service will be decided together, the chairman of the commission said.
