The Baltimore Area American Flyer Club (BAAFC) is a non-profit
model railroad club dedicated to American Flyer Trains. Our club is centered in the
Baltimore/Washington metropolitan although our membership extends
from Pennsylvania to Virginia.
Some more information on our club
The club is called a "It's just for the fun of it" club and was formed under the same basis as the
well established St. Louis American Flyer club. The club has no formal rules and is governed by
the following "non-rules":
No dues.
No officers, officials, or official staff.
No constitution or by-laws.
Operate on consensus: majority rules but the minority has to be able to go along with it or we just don't do it.
Individual members perform various tasks.
Club funds are generated from the fees collected for operating the club's layout. Members should get free admission to the shows.
Send newsletters to other clubs.
Members supply stamped, self addressed (SSAE) envelopes for the club's newsletter.
