It's Spring in New England, and the B&M #410 gets some TLC from Society volunteers. The loco, an G-11-a class switcher, was manufactured by Manchester Locomotive Works, in Manchester NH. It spent many hard days on the B&M, before being sold to Fletchers Quarry in Chelmsford, MA. Volunteers from the Society and the National Park Service saved the locomotive, and have put many hours into its cosmetic restoration. Behind the engine, is a B&M combine. Like the engine, it saw service with several different companies, the B&M, the St.J&LC, and the Wolfeboro railroad, before becoming a park exhibit.
