The Boston & Maine Railroad Historical Society Archives are
housed in the Mogan Center, University of Massachusetts Lowell,
40 French Street, Lowell, Mass. Here we maintain our collection
of documents, books, photos, and mechanical drawings. The
Archives are generally open Monday thru Friday, 9:00am to
5:00pm, and Saturday 10:00am to 3:00pm. Closed Sundays and
holidays. For further information and to confirm hours call

Our employee records are very thin. This limits our ability to
respond to requests for genealogical information. The Railroad
Retirement Board can help in many instances. Please refer to
