SOO 950 at Ashland, WI, 1/17/16. When built in 1900, it was
the world's largest steam locomotive. 950 spent most of it's life
working the ore docks of Superior and Ashland. It was retired in 1954.

SOO 346 at Tracy, MN, 9/08/24 was built in 1915.
In 1955 it was sold to Koppers where it worked at their coke plant in St
Paul, MN, into the 1960's. In the 70's it was part of the Depot House
Restaurant in Rochester, MN, which was home until the late 80's and where
the balloon stack was added. Some time in the 1990's it was moved
to the Wheels Across the Prairie Museum in Tracy where it became "DME
1"! It is now "CNW 850".
