The Nobles Rock Railroad (NRR) operated about 40 miles of former
Chicago and Northwestern (CNW) trackage in it's namesake counties,
Nobles and Rock, in
southwest Minnesota. NRR interchanges with BNSF on the west end and UP
at their eastern end.
NRR ceased operation in late-2000 and is now the Minnesota Southern
Railway (MSWY). However, everything I saw at their Luverne, MN,
headquarters still showed
Nobles Rock. You will note the similarity of paint scheme with
the SCXY; leasor ILSX was an owner/partner in both RR's.

NRR 1379 at Luverne, MN, 7/11/04.
