The Palouse River & Coulee City Railroad (PCC) operates about 400 miles of former BN/NP and Union Pacific trackage in eastern Washington. PCC began in 1996 under the management of Watco, Inc.(WAMX).
Washington State DOT (WADOT) began negotiations to purchase the right-of-way in July 2004. WAMX will continue to operate the line.
