CSX Gloster, GA
Around 8:00pm EST, on 1-2-2002, CSX dumped 16 ballast cars along the ROW near Gloster, GA . The wreck occurred about 100 yards south of the Patterson Rd. crossing and literally less than 100 feet from residences located right behind me. This is looking south toward the north switch at Gloster siding, about halfway down the wreckage site. I don't know the cause. It appears that most of the cars were empty as there are not large areas of ballast lying about.
