Plover Railroading March 2011
The Whiting paper mill closed on Feb 15, 2011.
But Plover still has paper mill traffic to sort for the Stevens Point Paper Mill.
For a few days there was an IC loco.

Sometimes a long train passes through Plover, going from Point to Rapids.
About a hundred cars, with lots of pulp wood.
I would expect a train like this in the evening, but this time it was at 8 am on a Sunday morning.
I didn't see the engine(s) this tiime, but would suspect one big AC unit.

It's still Winter and the radiator curtain is down.

There can still be two locomotives working Plover in the morning.
And some days the sun even shines and lights up the red paint color.
