Tie train in Wisconsin Rapids

A tie pick-up job has been around central Wisconsin.
This location is named Badger, and is a mile south of the yard of Wisconsin Rapids.

I didn't see them in operation, but presume they pick up ties left along the right-of-way after tie inserters have done their job.
They they re-load the old ties into big hoppers for the trip to a recycler.

.

The motive power unit runs this one power truck.
There is a Sullair compressor, probably for the air brakes.

.

The gondola is continuous, and the backhoe can crawl the full length of the train.

.

.

The load data is interesting, With and Without the Cat.
