A tie pick-up job has been around central Wisconsin. This location is named Badger, and is a mile south of the yard of Wisconsin Rapids.
I didn't see them in operation, but presume they pick up ties left along the right-of-way after tie inserters have done their job. |

The motive power unit runs this one power truck. There is a Sullair compressor, probably for the air brakes. |
