Stevens Point yard 2011

October 2011, Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

Here's my kIte aerial views of the rails in Stevens Point.
I don't model areas this big. But someone in New York state has recreated Stevens Point in miniature.

Looking way east at the Plover River, I think I see a Point to Green Bay Push-Pull at noon on a Saturday.
The river below the bridge is just a river.
It should be McDill Pond, but the dam leaked and the water has been drawn down for 3 months already.

.

.

. . . . . . . there's an engine in there somewhere, like ' where's Waldo '.

.

.

The white Roundy's / Copps Food warehouse is in the distance.
They haven't had a rail siding in 40 years. Soo Line couldn't do a timely spotting of boxcars there, and they gave up on rail service.

.

Looking west.
Point sees a lot of variety.
There's containers, steel coil cars, clay tankers, sand and roofing granule hoppers, plywood cars, and pulpwood flats and gons.

.

. . . . . . . . . . . . the P-line comes in from the south / left.

.
