Frozen Wisconsin River
Finally saw a train over the Wisconsin River in Wisconsin Rapids.
With sunshine.
January 3rd, 2012.
There were a few cold days, down to zero F on the morning of this picture, and the river froze.

The main channel thawed two days later.
This is a warm winter. Temperatures are back up in the 20's and 30's F.
There was an inch of snow on the ground, but it's melting everyday.
