A train is moving from Rapids to Steven Point, via Highway 54.
It's 9am on a weekday, and I wouldn't expect to see them this time of day.
For people who know McCains potatoes but haven't seen it since in a while,
the big white building is last year's addition for some energy efficient power house?
This train was very long. Empty pulp wood cars, boxcars, doublestacks, and 40 sand hoppers.
A half dozen sand hoppers were set out in Golden Sands siding here, and the rest were left on the main for a day.
(It's convenient that there is another route from Rapids to Point via Junction City for the regular trains)
The front half of this train must have gone on to Point right away.
