Plover Trains

The Plover job is heading east along Highway 54,
with an empty tank car of cooking oil from McCains potatoes,
and 5 paper-hauling boxcars from the warehouse on the east side of Wisconsin Rapids.
.

.

On a Sunday morning, they are switching cars in the little siding on the west side of Plover,
at Foremost Avenue, or milepost 82 of the former GBW

.

And at the same time, the other job arrives at the north end of the Plover wye.
They came from Stevens Point (they are backing up all the way)

.

And on the east side, there's the Bancroft depot in the Portage County Historical Village.
On the right, way down the tracks, is a red speck of the local engine switching.
