Snow Squall Wisconsin Rapids

It can snow in April. (and as I write this on May 3, 2013, there's a foot of fresh snow in Eau Claire. We got rain in the center of the state.)
One Friday, the sun was shining between the dark clouds and a few hundred yards away there were curtains of snow under the clouds.
The orange J was coming back alone from the Biron paper mill.
Could only see the headlight when it was a block away, and its orange paint finally shows when they were 100 yards away.

Right where I'm standing, there's a void without flakes but it is dark under the cloud.

And around the curve they go to Coyne Junction, and back into another curtain of snow.
