Stevens Point P-Line at Patch Street

Looking west along Patch Street
The P-line comes in from the left / south and crosses Patch Street.

The County Concrete plant is not served by the railroad, but they show up in a lot of pictures.
There are no big cement trucks today, Sunday.

.

And I'm on the ground out of sight of most of the tracks, and I hear a horn.
The main line is a no-blow area, but everything south on the P-Line runs like the good old days, they blow the horn but keep it pleasant.

I have to pull down the kite camera and re-aim to where the sound came from.
(maybe I should make a remote control direction device so I can leave the camera up high and point it to where the action is.)
(does anyone have a cheap busted model airplane with 2 salvageable bell-crank type of servos?)

The engine from Plover has arrived with cars for the paper mill west of the Point Depot.
They have to wait for a warrant and the main line trains to clear,
and then they stop to hand-throw the switch to the main. That is at the left of the picture.

A view at Michigan Avenue, just west of County Concrete.

Michigan Avenue, from the ground.
