Weyauwega Rails

After visiting Gills Landing, I went to Weyauwega.

They have a very nicely painted water tower, but I didn't take a picture of it.

This city is infamous for a train wreck that evacuated the town in the last century.

It's nice and quiet today.

.

Looking east at the mainline.
I didn't take pictures of the cheese factory or other industry south of the tracks.
I didn't even look if they have rail spur access.

.

Looking west from County Highway X.

.

Looking east, an aerial view of the Weyauwega West Industrial Park.
There isn't a loop by this grain facility, just the spurs.

.

Looking south at the flowage.
A church steeple is in town on the left, and the cut for US Highway 10 is on the right.

.

A short westbound came by.

This is the west end of the very long passing siding west of Weyauwega,
Reek Road, milepost 215
