Around the railroad curves of Wisconsin Rapids

I like the interesting curves of the tracks coming through Rapids.
Long ago, there were 3 railroads here. Then they merged and swung onto other tracks, making a double S.
Its actually easier to see the S from the south end, but I never seem to catch a southbound and get in position.
They just don't run trains to fit my schedule.
.

This day, the shuttle is coming from Nekoosa about 5pm

.

.

And on another day, I had time to set up the pole camera.
But I think I missed one S by being on the west side of the tracks,
compared to my first picture above. And I don't use a strong tele on a pole,
the aim is difficult and I don't have remote electronic viewing.

There's a lot that might not be apparent in this scene.
To the locomotive's right / east is one leg of the wye toward the paper mill and river.
Half-way between me and the loco is where the GBW crossed on a diamond many years ago.

.

And I got a pole hiding the train on the curve that I wanted to show.

.

Looking above this train coming from the south, I see empty blue DJTX pulp cars that were unloaded at Nekoosa.
In the distance to my left, I also see the pulp wood loads on the northeast leg that are probably headed for the Rapids mill.
Although, I would expect that to happen in the morning, not the late afternoon.
