Sand Train through the Wisconsin Rapids Industrial Park

Sand Train through the Wisconsin Rapids Industrial Park

June, 2019. Here's something unusual, a lone locomotive was left at 25th Avenue.
But by evening, it will be added to an eastbound sand train.
.

.

Here's a simple map of the main line as it goes through the Wisconsin Rapids industrial park

.

This is an aerial view of the Industrial Park, looking south. It's a little distorted, its a stitched panoramic view.
Engel Road is in the foreground.
25th Avenue is in the trees in the distance.
WOW, Warehousing of Wisconsin paper storage is on the left, WOW refrigerated storage is on the right of the main track.
(please pardon the white kite string in the pictures)

.

In the upper right of the picture is a eastbound train of loaded sand hoppers that arrived from the Taylor Subdivision.
And they stayed there for half an hour while that lone locomotive was added to the consist.

.

.

.

The batteries and the memory card are running low while waiting, but finally they come through.

.

.

All sand

.

And they come past more waiting power as they approach the diamond. (the main yard is in the trees on the upper right, there's a glimpse of a red nose of a CN and some white hoppers)

.

.

And there's a BNSF dpu on the end.
