Badgerland S Gaugers History - The Early Years

We had our first secret project contest. The idea was to get members to build a kit, scratch-build something, or do a Flyer conversion. The following entered items:

Brad Nelson- a Flyer conversion (locomotive)

Roy Meissner- a scratch built brass and styrene center rib flat car

Bob Ristow- super detailed stock car

Mike Hecker- scratch built model of Soo Line Templeton (now Sussex) station

Dick Kloes- planing mill
