Colour scheme is ex QR DH Class, Aristo Craft RS3 Motor Block was cut about to match DH.
The footplate is made from 8mm (5/16") plywood, the bogie 'idler' is fabricated from Aluminium angle.
Testing R/C, battery pack, ESC & direction servo, prior to building body on footplate.
CAB sides drilled and cut outs for windows in 2mm styrene.
CAB assembled ready to add roof........short & long HOODS assembled.
A snap fit air vent was "split" to attain the Grills for the front & rear Hood faces
Basic shells next to my HOn3 earlier model of DH Class, a few more details yet to be added.
The QR style Cow Catcher sub-assembly........The Buffer (beam) Plate ready to mount on frame.
The IDLER bogie, just have to add springs then it can be painted.
The DRIVE bogie, yet to add springs - - - the short Hood twin headlights.
The buffer plates with step boxes added, ready to fit to footplate.
Fuel Tank will house the sound system speaker, yet to be added.
Primer coat, next mask for yellow stripes, then Green finish.
Masking removed, now for finishing touches.
All but finished, blacken handrails, glazing & window screen shields to do.

Side view, side frames are very simple with sand boxes mounted at ends.
