The Station at TABLETOP

The Tabletop Station area is built on a 1/5th scale QR style trestle (table).

A busy day at the station including visiting rollingstock of GRASS members.

Three tracks; station platform, under fern nearest to camera, passing loop and wharf/stabling loop.

The platform overhangs the back edge of the table, it is removed after trains are packed away after a run day.
Possums run riot at night, so these tracks and loose ballast are covered with coarse woven garden cloth.

The station building is a temporary structure until the final station building is installed.

The wharf at the terminus out of sight to the right of Tabletop is also 'taken-to-be' the wharf at Shenanigan's.
This allows point-to-point running, or wharf-to-wharf so to speak.
