FGW Water wagons were mostly 4 wheelers, here can be seen the canvas hose to discharge water.
FWR (Rivetted) during construction. The tank itself is a kitbashed Bachmann Big Hauler Tender.
Some were 8 wheelers, this photo shows typical side view of tank itself and truss rods.
During construction of this model, styrene & wood, a drinking straw for the outlet pipe, tissue for canvas.
View from underneath, shows Grovers Bogie self steering arrangement.
The diagonal rod pushes or pulls the trailing axle to turn it into curves.
Now axles are turned the other way for opposing curve. Brake shoes and hangers seen here too.
The completed W Class Water Wagon FWR has entered service on the BTR.
